On May 9, Zhu Ping, Vice President of Nanjing Iron & Steel, and his delegation visited Aosen Special Steel for a technical exchange. The two sides engaged in an in-depth dialogue focused on the steel industry's green and low-carbon transformation, jointly discussing strategies for ecological integration, technological innovation, and sustainable development. Cao Yuebin, Chairman of Aosen Special Steel, along with heads of relevant departments, warmly welcomed the group and attended the meeting.
Zhu Ping and his delegation toured the Integrated Intelligent Control Center and the Ironmaking Plant firsthand, focusing their visit on the company’s recent breakthroughs in ultra-low emission upgrades, green process innovation, and low-carbon development. The intelligent monitoring system provided a vivid display of clean production processes, while Austen Steel’s comprehensive process control capabilities across the entire production line—and its "dust-free" smart manufacturing practices—left a lasting impression on the Nansteel team.

During the symposium, Cao Yuebin extended a warm welcome to Zhu Ping and his delegation, systematically outlining the company’s strategic vision for a green corporate transformation. He noted that Nanjing Iron & Steel and Ausent Steel share highly aligned strategic plans in the green steel sector, expressing his hope that this exchange would serve as a catalyst for both sides to deepen collaboration and knowledge sharing—particularly in areas such as eco-friendly technology innovation and industrial synergy—while jointly pioneering a new paradigm for sustainable green steel development.
Aosent Steel Environmental Consultant Xin Min highlighted Aosent Steel's specific strategies for achieving green development under the guidance of the "Dual Carbon" strategic goals. She noted that Aosent Steel has already established a comprehensive, all-encompassing environmental management and control system. At the institutional level, the company has implemented an environmental responsibility system and performance evaluation mechanism, breaking down carbon reduction targets into every stage of production. For organized emission sources, Aosent Steel is enhancing the operational efficiency of dust removal, desulfurization, and denitrification facilities through technological upgrades. Xin Min emphasized that the cyclical improvement methodology—“identify issues, address them, and continuously enhance”—serves as a practical roadmap for companies aiming to simultaneously boost both environmental and economic benefits.

Zhu Ping highly praised Ausent Steel's innovative practices in green development and systematically shared Nanjing Iron & Steel's achievements in its green, low-carbon transformation. He emphasized that modern steel enterprises must firmly embrace the directions of high-end, intelligent, and green development, simultaneously advancing the upgrading of traditional industries while fostering emerging growth drivers. By tailoring solutions to local conditions, companies should build comprehensive, end-to-end low-carbon ecosystems and green manufacturing systems spanning the entire steelmaking value chain—ultimately forging a core engine for sustainable, high-quality business growth. Zhu Ping expressed his hope that this visit and exchange would deepen strategic collaboration between the two sides, enabling them to establish lifecycle-based partnership frameworks in areas such as green steel and smart manufacturing. Together, they can inject greater green momentum into the drive for high-quality, sustainable development.
During the special seminar session, the technical teams from both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on core topics such as sintering and green ironmaking processes. They focused particularly on innovative solutions like optimizing the operation of sintering CO catalysts and upgrading energy-saving technologies in smelting processes, ultimately reaching several key agreements on advanced technical approaches and their industrial applications.
