On December 20, the Research Center for Economic Development of the Metallurgical Industry and Shanghai SteelLink, in collaboration with leading domestic institutions and experts, officially released the results of the 2024-2025 evaluation for the “China Iron and Steel Enterprise High-Quality Development Index (EDIS).” Thanks to its consistently outstanding performance in the field of high-quality development, Aosen Special Steel has once again made the list and been successfully awarded an AAA-rated enterprise.
For a long time, Aosen Steel has been strategically positioning itself around the development of high-end products, strengthening its industrial foundation, enhancing full-chain management, and boosting the vitality of its ecosystem, thereby establishing a robust production and management system. Since its launch in 2022, the “China Iron and Steel Enterprise High-Quality Development Index (EDIS)” has been published continuously for four years. The 2025 edition of the High-Quality Development Index builds upon the indicator system framework of the 2024 edition, adopting a comprehensive approach that encompasses four key dimensions: core quality, supporting capabilities, control over the industrial chain, and competitiveness within the ecosystem. This framework comprises eight secondary indicators—covering development quality, technological innovation, green and low-carbon practices, digitalization and intelligence, development security, supply quality, regional environment, and social responsibility—and includes a total of 32 tertiary indicators. Based on this system, a panoramic scan, quantitative assessment, and scientific ranking of the high-quality development levels of China’s key steel enterprises have been conducted. Moreover, the scope of this year’s evaluation has been further expanded to include 121 key steel enterprises—three more than last year—whose combined steel production accounts for over 80% of the nation’s total output.

The steel wire rope and cable factory is a key, backbone production unit of Aosen Steel Group. It specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of high-performance steel wire ropes and cables. The factory has an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of various steel wire ropes and cables, placing it among the top tier nationwide in terms of production capacity, technological equipment level, and product quality.
