Recently, the China Electronics Information Industry Association officially announced the latest batch of DCMM (Data Management Capability Maturity) certification recipients for 2025. Aosen Special Steel has successfully passed the certification and earned the Level 3 (Stable Level) DCMM certificate for enterprise clients, thanks to its solid achievements in building a robust data management system. This milestone marks a significant step forward for Aosen Special Steel in the fields of data governance and digital transformation, and its data management capabilities have now been recognized by a nationally authoritative standard.
DCMM (GB/T36073-2018), as China’s first national standard in the field of data management, was organized and evaluated by the China Electronics Information Industry Association. It is currently the most authoritative data management capability maturity assessment system in China. Centered around eight key capability domains—including data strategy, data governance, and data architecture—the standard sets forth 28 specific capability requirements. Its aim is to guide enterprises in scientifically establishing data management systems, continuously optimizing data management mechanisms, and fully unlocking the value of data as a factor of production, thereby providing effective support for enterprises’ advancement toward informatization, digitalization, and intelligent development.
To obtain DCMM certification, Aosen Special Steel specifically established a data management team to comprehensively inventory the company’s data assets, systematically assess the current state of data management, and, based on this assessment, refine its institutional processes and procedures. As a result, the company has significantly enhanced its capabilities in standardized data management and innovative data applications, helping it systematically build a data management system, address existing shortcomings, standardize data-related work, and create a unified “intelligent brain” for the enterprise. This ensures that data across the entire value chain—from procurement and production to sales—is accurate, interconnected, and readily available. The system not only serves as a direct tool for achieving precise production scheduling and reducing energy consumption but also forms the strategic cornerstone for guiding the enterprise from “experience-driven” operations toward “data-driven” decision-making, paving the way for intelligent upgrades and laying a solid foundation for deepening digital transformation in the future.
