To accelerate the pace of technological innovation in enterprises, strengthen their core competitiveness, and drive high-quality development, Wang Dayong, a consultant expert for Hebei Province’s 14th Five-Year Plan, advisor to the Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association, and honorary chairman of the Hebei Energy Conservation Association; Dong Han, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai University and Director of the Shanghai University (Zhejiang) Institute for Advanced Materials Research on High-end Equipment Components; Wei Xicheng, former Vice Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai University and Vice Director of the Shanghai University (Zhejiang) Institute for Advanced Materials Research on High-end Equipment Components; Lu Hengchang, Lecturer at Shanghai University’s School of Materials Science and Engineering and Deputy Director of the Shanghai University (Zhejiang) Institute for Advanced Materials Research on High-end Equipment Components; as well as Min Yong'an, Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Department of Materials Engineering at Shanghai University’s School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Yang Bianjiang, Senior Engineer from the Fastener Materials Research Institute at the same institute—led a delegation to visit and exchange ideas with Aosen Group. They were warmly welcomed by Cao Yuebin, Chairman of Aosen Group, Cao Yanan, Executive Director, and Hou Yuehua, General Manager, among other senior leaders.

This July, under the guidance of the municipal government and research institutions, Aosen Steel signed an agreement with Shanghai University on the "High-Quality Special Steel Wire Rod Technology R&D Project," marking a partnership aimed at "optimizing complementarity, fostering mutual benefits, and achieving shared growth."
On the afternoon of August 7, accompanied by leaders from Aosen Group, a delegation from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai University toured the steelmaking and rolling production workshops, as well as the technology center, asking detailed questions about product specifications and the associated technical equipment.
On the morning of the 8th, leaders from both sides gathered at the Aosen Hotel for an exchange seminar, where they thoroughly discussed ways to further deepen collaboration between the university and the enterprise, leverage their respective strengths, and jointly pursue mutual success.
At the meeting, Hou Yuehua briefly introduced the company’s basic information, its development journey, process flows, and product application areas to the visiting guests. She also highlighted that Aosen Group is a large-scale, comprehensive private enterprise centered around the steel industry. Today, the group has established a diversified industrial system integrating steelmaking, rolling and deep processing of steel products, new building materials, international trade, real estate development, hotel and catering services, and heat supply. Following this, Lu Hengchang and Yang Bianjiang delivered research reports on high-end product development, technological upgrades, and quality control, reaching a consensus and exchanging insights.
